Associate - Senior Architect
As an Associate and Senior Architect at KA, Ula manages all aspects of project design from the schematic stage through construction administration where she has led teams responsible for a ground-up commercial development in Soho, the renovation and expansion of a five-story mixed use landmark district building in Soho, a private residence in Tuxedo Park, NY, and numerous apartment renovations and office build-outs. Prior to joining KA, she ran her own Brooklyn-based firm specializing in mixed-use, retail, commercial and adaptive re-use renovation projects. Her past work includes landmark condominium conversions in Soho and Tribeca, office build-outs in NYC and Brooklyn and single as well as multi-family renovations.
Ula has been a practicing architect in NYC since 2002. Her work has received a Masterworks Award for Best Neighborhood Catalyst from the Municipal Arts Society of New York and the Lucy G. Moses Award for outstanding preservation efforts from the New York Landmarks Conservancy, for the Berg’n Beer Hall, completed in collaboration with Selldorf Architects.
Ula earned her Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Planning degree from the University of Technology in Warsaw, Poland in 2001. She is a registered architect in New York State, a Certified Passive House Designer, and a member of the AIA, the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) network and NCARB.
