Julia MacKenzie
Project Architect
As a Project Architect at Katz Architecture, Julia’s responsibilities include design visualization, production of drawing packages, materials research, and selection of finishes and fixtures. With her strong team management skills, Julia also oversees consultant coordination and design reviews during construction to ensure that each project exceeds expectations.
Since joining the firm in 2016, Julia has expertly guided a diverse range of residential and commercial projects to successful completion. Notably, she managed the renovation of a 2,000 square-foot landmark district loft in Tribeca, as well as the combination of a 3,000 square-foot Riverside Park apartment. Julia has also led the design development of two retail shops for iconic fashion retailer, Carhartt WIP.
Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, where she minored in Art History and Fine Arts. As a professional with outstanding design, organizational and communication skills, Julia also plays an integral role in business development and marketing KA's services and accomplishments.
